A Week of Sporting Excellence Across SSVM Institutions

Last week, campuses across SSVM CBSE Schools in Coimbatore came alive with energy, determination, and sportsmanship as they celebrated their Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm. Students from SSVM World School (SSVMWS), SSVM School of Excellence, SSVM School of Excellence – Nambiyur Campus, SSVM School of Excellence – Theethipalayam Campus, Reeds World School, SSVM Vidhan Matriculation Higher Secondary School, and SSVM Day & Residential School, Mettupalayam showcased their athletic talent through exciting track and field events, synchronized displays, march pasts, and team competitions.

The celebrations were made even more inspiring by the presence of distinguished sports personalities. Padma Bhushan Shri P. R. Sreejesh, former Captain of the Indian Men’s Hockey Team, graced the Annual Sports Day at SSVM Day & Residential School, Mettupalayam. Ms. Tanisha Crasto, Indian Badminton Player, attended the event at SSVM School of Excellence – Nambiyur Campus, while Ms. Thulasimathi Murugesan, Indian Para-Badminton Player, inspired students at Reeds World School. Mr. Amalraj Anthony Arputharaj, renowned Indian table tennis player and Arjuna Award recipient, was the Chief Guest at SSVM School of Excellence – Theethipalayam Campus. Ms. Jivanthika Suresh Babu, International Kickboxing Athlete and National Champion, graced the Annual Sports Day as the Chief Guest at SSVM Vidhan Matriculation Higher Secondary School, inspiring students with her remarkable achievements and motivating them to pursue excellence in sports.

Adding to the grandeur of the celebrations, our Founder Dr. Manimekalai Mohan and Mr. Mohandoss graced the events, encouraging students to embrace discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and excellence both on and off the field.

The Annual Sports Day across all campuses was a memorable celebration of fitness, resilience, leadership, and the true spirit of sports, inspiring every student to strive for success with confidence and determination.
