Nursery, LKG, UKG and Class 1 admissions open on 1 September 2026 across our 20 campuses in Coimbatore, Mettupalayam, Nambiyur and Tiruppur. Here’s what to prepare, when to apply, and exactly what happens after you submit the form.

Under NEP 2020, age eligibility is standardised nationwide no more school to school guesswork about who qualifies for which grade.

About the cut-off date: if your child turns 6 after 1 June, they’ll join UKG for this session and move into Class 1 the following year. It’s standard policy to keep every child grouped with age-appropriate peers not a mark against your application.

Three things worth checking beyond the form
Campus visit
No application form can show you a school's culture, safety standards, or how staff actually speak to students. A physical visit before you finalise is the most reliable way to know if your child will thrive there.
Transport
Bus routes in high-demand areas fill up fast. Confirm route availability and pickup/drop timings during the admission process itself — rerouting after your seat is confirmed is harder than it sounds.
Fees
Fees vary by campus, grade, and day or residential program. Ask our admissions office for an itemised breakdown tuition, transport, activities and any one-time fees so there are no surprises in Term 2.

When do SSVM admissions for 2027–28 open?
SSVM opens Nursery through Class 1 admissions every year on September 1st; admissions for higher classes run on a rolling, seat-availability basis.
What documents are required for SSVM admission?
Birth certificate, address proof, parent ID proof, recent photographs, immunisation records, and — for Class 2 onward — a transfer certificate from the previous school.
Is there an entrance test for admission?
For younger grades, it’s typically an informal parent–child interaction rather than a formal exam. Higher grades may include a basic academic assessment depending on the class.
