A moment of immense pride for SSVM, Mettupalayam as Grade 11 student Chittaranjan carried the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympic Torch on 18 January 2026, representing Indian Intercultural Programmes.
Currently in Verona, Italy, as part of the AFS Short-Term Student Exchange Programme, he exemplifies the spirit of global citizenship, cultural exchange, and youthful leadership, carrying India’s values with grace and dignity. The Olympic flame, an enduring symbol of unity, peace, and international friendship, found a worthy bearer in him, marking a proud milestone in his journey and in our school’s legacy of global engagement.
